HEALTH GUARANTEE-CONTRACT

1. Please read the health guarantee completely before putting a deposit on a puppy.

2.  By putting a deposit on a puppy, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions within this contract.

3. We require a $100 dollar deposit in order to hold the puppy of your choice. The deposit can be paid in cash if local, mail a money order overnight (must take picture of it along with envelope and text to seller or PAYPAL. This comes off the total price of the puppy. Balance paid at pickup by money order or cash only. Deposit comes off the price of the puppy.

4. This deposit is non-refundable, unless there is a problem with the health of your puppy. In that case, the buyer will have their choice of a full refund or of transferring that deposit toward another puppy. **Please be certain that you are ready for the time commitment and financial Responsibility of a puppy prior to putting a deposit on one. * Because deposit is not refundable.

5.  It will be up to us, to decide when the puppy will be ready to go to its new home. Usually at the age of 7-9 weeks. We will not, under any circumstances, let the puppy leave before it is ready.

6.  The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.  The puppy will be up to date on shots and worming at the time of pickup of the puppy. It is very important that you continue the vaccinations and worming. Please do not expose your puppy to other dogs that are not vaccinated until he/she has completed the entire vaccination schedule - around 16-20 weeks old.

7. The puppy will have been first vaccination, deworming up to date, tails docked and deemed in good health at the time of sale. ( We do not do dew claws)

8. The buyer, at their own expense should have the puppy examined by a Licensed Vet within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

9.  Documentation must be sent to the breeder within two days in order for the Health Guarantee to be honored.  If within 72 hours, a Licensed Vet finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy may be returned for a full refund - provided the puppy has not been injured or neglected. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy “unhealthy for purchase. This guarantee does not cover any health issues caused by neglect or injury from the buyer. This guarantee does not include minor illnesses and health issues such as colds, allergies, internal or external parasites. Dehydration, Diarrhea, Hypoglycemia , Coccidia,   Internal and external parasites, Giardia, Fungal infections, or any condition that can be corrected by your veterinarian treatment and any other preventable conditions are not covered The breeder cannot assume responsibility for this puppy after 72 hours of the sale. It is the responsibility of the buyer to care for the puppy properly and keep it free from harm. Please remember that your puppy must be treated with great care and protected from danger.  The breeder assumes no responsibility for any medical expenses incurred after the sale. It is generally recognized that intestinal parasites and ear mites are common in puppies and part of a puppy's early development, but we make every effort to prevent these and will be noted on health card- dates of dewormings. Often the stress of change, new home, and travel can cause internal parasites to emerge after the puppy has left its siblings and home due to this stress. These can be easily treated by your veterinarian. 

10. If  puppy is found to have a life threatening hereditary congenital defect at INITIAL  72 HOUR exam, a replacement puppy of equal value will be given, provided that the seller is notified within 24 hours after the exam or a full refund minus nonrefundable deposit. This puppy must be returned to the Breeder along with the AKC registration papers within 24 hours after exam, at no expense to the breeder, with a signed document from the licensed Veterinarian stating the defect or problem.

11. The breeder will not be responsible for Parvo, Distemper or Corona Virus after the initial pet exam by vet as these are highly contagious diseases and they can be contacted immediately after leaving the Breeder. We will not be responsible for illness or health problems, which are diagnosed after this time period, except where stated in this contract.
    We, the breeder, are not responsible for any veterinarian bills acquired by you, the buyer. This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, grade 1 and 2 heart murmurs, injuries, fleas, mites, ringworm, kennel cough, hernias, Coccidia, giardia or any other intestinal worms or parasites, as they are common in dogs and puppies.

12. The breeder assumes no responsibility for training difficulties or behavior problems. Buyer must be responsible and research on how to train their new puppy.

13. The breeder gives a ONE YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE for any congenital defects of the puppy. If this should occur then the puppy will be returned to the breeder, and the buyer will receive another puppy of the same breed when there is one available, if not available, refund of price buyer paid only and buyer must return puppy within 30 minutes of our home...no further distance meeting.

14. FIVE day agreement-If for any reason such as job change, moving, allergies and I am unable to keep the puppy, I agree to return the puppy to the Seller. If puppy is returned within the first 5 days, only half of the purchase price will be refunded after the puppy has been placed in his/her new home. The other half will cover the cost of re-advertisement and keeping the puppy current on vaccinations and deworming. Puppy must be in good health with vet-check when returning. After 5 days, contact us and we will take the puppy back in healthy condition if your dog needs to be rehomed but no refund will be given or we will try and help you rehome.

15. IF WE MEET YOU to deliver and a puppy must be returned due to a serious health reason, we will meet you as soon as possible @ our convenience & our expense and location we choose or you may return the puppy to our home. If you are returning for other reasons listed you must return within 30 minutes of us @ our convenience.

16. Show and breeding prospect puppies are sold on full/open registration. We do not guarantee that your puppy will achieve a title, or guarantee that your puppy will be able to be used for breeding purposes when full grown.
    Your puppy has been on a vaccination and de-worming schedule  and is up-to-date. These records will be provided to you. Please take these records to your veterinarian as it is very important to continue with these vaccinations and deworming after you get your puppy home. Please do not forget the annual booster after that.
    If for any reason we, the breeder, and the original purchaser of this puppy should end up in a court of law, then the original purchaser hereby agrees to bare any and all court costs and attorney’s fees for both the breeder and original purchaser. Furthermore, it is agreed that any court proceedings shall be held in the breeder's state and county.

17. This warranty applies only to the original buyer. Upon transfer of ownership of the dog, warranty becomes null and void

• We reserve the right to refuse a deposit for any reason that we believe will not be a good fit or home for our puppies. 

• Keep in mind that our guarantee is only up to the purchase price of your puppy, and we are not obligated to pay veterinary bills exceeding the purchase price of your puppy.

• We encourage you to Enroll in AKC Pet Insurance.   Free for the first 30 days.

• You will receive a copy of this in your puppy folder at puppy pickup.
